
Kaigan Church gala
On December 9, two charity concerts were held at Yokohama Kaigan Church to support victims of the invasion of Ukraine.
The event featured two different programs with various artists:
[Part 1: 14:00 - Melodies of Hope]
Artists: Denys Vyshnia (bass), Mio Shiraishi (soprano), Madoka Kimura (soprano), Rie Sakamoto (flute), Seiko Yuki (cello), Leonid Shapovalov (piano).
[Part 2: 19:00 - Bach’s Prayer]
Artists: Roman Siedovolosyi (violin), Ai Noma (contralto), Leonid Shapovalov Leonid (piano).
[Moderator & Poetry Reading] Keiko Gouda.

Both sessions reached full capacity (180 seats each).
A total of 944,987 JPY was raised through venue donations and bank transfers. All proceeds were used to purchase exoskeletons for surgeons at the Main Military Hospital of Ukraine in the city of Dnipro.
